We also have a rare festival in our town. It is called "Tsukurimon festival" The content of this festival; many groups make original figure or something with vegetables. Visitors can enjoy seeing these figures. They also can make figures of their own. It is an original festival of our town.
Our town is famous for "Sugegasa" It is a kind of hat or umbrella. This is made of a kind of plant. The name of plant is "Suge" So it is called "Sugegasa" "Kasa" means "Umbrella" in Japanese. But we no longer use Sugegasa. It is a specialty in our town. We can buy it in souvenir shops. It is quite good souvenir for your friends or family.
We can see two mountains from our town. It is "Tateyama" and "Inabayama" Tateyama is not in our town. But we can see very beautiful view on a fine day. It is often surrounded with snow. It looks so nice. I think this mountain is good for climbing and sight seeing. And "Inabayama" is in my town. So we can go there casually. We can see whole of our town from there. It is a very very beautiful view.
