TAKAOKA is the second biggest city in TOYAMA prefecture. I would like to introduce the festivals in TAKAOKA.

First, I will tell you about MIKURUMAYAMA festival.It has been held since 1609.MAEDA TOSHINAGA, who governed Toyama prefecture then, started it.

This picture is YAMAGURUMA. There are seven.It is very beautiful!! You should watch it some time. These are a lot of small shops, selling items such as apple coating with starch syrup, small sponge cakes, and so on. They line up along street. Those foods are very delicious!
