Fukuoka High School

Hi! My name is Susie and I'm one of two current ALTs at Fukuoka High School. Iwas asked to write this for website and discuss my experiences teaching here this past year. Well, in April this year Fukuoka this past year. Well, in April this year Fukuoka High School became a SELHi (Super English Language High School) it has 600 students, 200 in each year and almost all of the students have great English ability. I have now been teaching here for almost a year and I've had a fantastic time. The best experience though has to have been sports Day and also the school festival last year. These were great days because the students are really genki and relaxed and have fun speaking English with you. Excitement runs high on days like these and it's easy to get caught up in the moment.

I have enjoyed teaching the students here a lot and OC is especially fun to teach. If you make it fun for the students then you will have fun too.

I'm not really sure who will be reading this but I hope this helps in some way. Basically the teachers and students at Fukuoka High School are good to work with. If you're a future ALT then I hope you enjoy working here as much as I have. Thanks.
